Founded in 1926, the Larco Museum showcases remarkable chronological galleries of showing an excellent overview of the more than 3,000 years of development in the history of pre-Columbian Peru.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Museo Larco is located in a unique colonial mansion which dates to the eighteenth century, which was itself was built on a seventh century pyramid.

The museum features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the world famous erotic archaeological collection, one of the most visited tourist attractions in Peru.

The Larco Museum is one of the few museums in the world where visitors can tour the storage area with its more than 45.000 classified archaeological objects, an unforgettable experience.

The artworks from the Larco Museum have been exhibited in the most prestigious museums in the world and are considered icons of pre-Columbian art worldwide.

- The Museum Café: The Museum Café aims to give visitors a taste of the best of Peruvian cuisine within the context of the extraordinary Museo Larco, icons of pre-Columbian art worldwide. Located on the terrace of the beautiful gardens of the museum, the restaurant has a privileged view of the pyramid, and the vice-royal mansion that houses the Lacro collection.

- Museum Gallery: The Museum Gallery reproduces ceramic pieces, metalwork and textiles made by the best craftsmen in the same geographic area where our ancient cultures developed. In that they are able to formalize the productive activity of those who in previous years were copiers of pre-Columbian art.
